Our Developer Platform

While our roadmap is constantly evolving, our APIs currently aim to promote:

1. Connecting Consumers to Black-Owned businesses.
2. The discovery of Black-Owned businesses by several criteria including Location, Category, Keyword Search.
3. The collaborative curation of our listings by improving their breadth and accuracy.

Collaborative Curation: How it Works

We seek to nurture the quality of our listings. To achieve this, we have built a platform blending Technology and Human Capital.

"New Listings" and "Listing Updates" via "POST" and "PATCH" API operations, will be funneled into the Developer's "Editorial Queue" where they can monitor the status of submissions. Once approved by our Editorial Staff, submissions will be automatically published.
